Mr. Bungle procediente was a band from Eureka, California, founded by Mike Patton (vocals and effects ), Trevor Gunn (bass), Trey Spruance (guitar) and Jed Watts (drums). Before they released their debut album 4 demos:
· The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny (1986): A death metal style with bongos, saxophones and other exotic instruments built.
· Bowel of Chiley (1987): In this demo sounds mixed ska, swing and funk, very different from before. For this demo the formation of the group went through some changes, Jed Watts was replaced by Hans Wagner and trumpets joined Scott Fritz and Theo Lengyel.
· Goddammit I Love America (1988) : mantubo The style but with better production, and Fritz left the band and was replaced by Luke Miller.
· OU818 (1989) : This was the demo that would mark the band's style, making a metal funk with many touches of Avant Garde metal, progressive rock and experimental rock . In this production be completed to form the band with Danny Heifetz on drums and Clinton "Bär" McKinnon on saxophone.
then, Mr. Bungle was the band with more fans in Northern California and receive a hiring Mike Patton on vocals the group Faith No More.
